Condolence: Heartfelt condolences to all of Debbie's family. The marine science community at the University of Maryland is heart-broken with Debbie's loss. Her tireless efforts on behalf of the MEES program and support of its students has been remarkable. She was the smiling face of our graduate program. She was the calm, competent person who faculty and students relied on to negotiate the university system. She was always a bright-light, quick to laugh, had a constant smile and was just a pleasure to work with. She will be sorely missed.

Condolence: My prayers are with your family. I never met Debbie yet I heard of her passing from a Potomac Masters email. I expect we swam together at meets. I've met some of the most wonderful people through Masters swimming and have made the best of friendships. I know Debbie will be missed by her swimming family.

Condolence: He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Eric,

I can't begin to understand the pain you must be feeling. I am very sorry for your loss. May you take comfort in all the loving memories you both shared. God has welcomed a new angel into heaven.
